This image was captured on a cool fall sunset at White Sands National Park, located in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Shot just before sunset, the low sun creates beautiful, blue light on the soft white gypsum sand. The wind blowing on the horizon made a beautiful line in front of the shadow of the mountains.
